Animal SceneWhen we thought we have seen it all, people just kept surprising us. Most animal shelters find dropped off animals in crates, leashes, or other types of animal carriers. But a shelter in Riverside County received something different.
Riverside County Department of Animal Services said a cute dog was dropped off at one of the shelters. He was almost entirely inside a Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries cereal box.
They added that the puppy inside the cereal box has to be “one of the oddest ways a pet came to us as an over-the-counter dropoff.”
“We handled all its fleas and now we hope an owner arrives,” they wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, including the adorable photo of the dog.
